Granny Witch in Training Sticker

My brother always called my mom a Granny Witch. She knew many of the old healing methods and would take us on nature walks when we were kids. She could name many plants and their medicinal uses.

A ‘Granny Witch’ was an Appalachian granny who tended to use folk medicine, herbal remedies, and knowledge of the old ways to help their community. They could also be midwives. There’s a rich history of folk medicine in the Appalachian region.
